Limeric

Since St, Patricks day is near , a limeric may be in order. These are short and direct and sometimes funny. Here goes:

I came in out of the weather,
Feeling lite as a feather.
I sat in my chair,
The dog had been there,
Now I had to hook him out on his tether!
